Bangladesh is heavily dependent on imported edible oils. To provide a healthy, locally produced alternative, AsthaGro introduces the Premium Sunflower Farming & Oil Production project. We engage in contract farming with local farmers in the coastal and southern regions (Barishal/Khulna), where sunflowers grow exceptionally well in fallow lands. After harvesting, the seeds are crushed in our facility to produce 100% pure, cholesterol-free sunflower oil, which is then sold directly to health-conscious consumers through our B2C channels.

Expected Profit & Calculation Mechanism

This project operates on a 100% Shariah-compliant Mudaraba (profit-sharing) model. After selling the premium sunflower oil and seed cakes, the operational costs are deducted from the gross revenue to determine the Net Profit. This net profit is distributed based on a 70:30 ratio—70% goes to the Project Partners proportionally based on their units, and 30% is retained by AsthaGro as a maintenance and operational fee.

Projected Profit Ratio (Estimated Matrix - For 12 Months)

Below is the realistic profit projection based on harvest volume and premium oil pricing:

1. Conservative (Low Range) | 9.0%

• Condition: Average harvest yield due to weather and standard market sales.

2. Expected (Medium Range) | 14.0%

• Condition: The standard analytical projection displayed on the dashboard based on expected farm-to-table profit margins.

3. Optimistic (High Range) | 19.0%

• Condition: Excellent harvest yield and high-volume direct-to-consumer (B2C) sales at premium prices.

Note: Upon maturity, the final calculated profit ratio will be automatically adjusted based on actual sales data.

At the end of the 12-month cycle, your initial fund and the generated profit will be automatically credited to your secure AsthaGro Smart Wallet. From there, you can withdraw the balance directly to your Bank Account or MFS (bKash/Nagad), or seamlessly re-partner in upcoming projects.

• Contract Farming Shield: By providing seeds and fertilizers directly to contract farmers, we lock in the procurement price, preventing unexpected raw material inflation.

• Weather Monitoring: Sowing and harvesting are scientifically timed to avoid monsoon cyclones, minimizing crop damage.

• Emergency Reserve Fund: A dedicated internal buffer fund is maintained to handle sudden supply chain disruptions without affecting the partners' capital.
